Fordingbridge Nursing Home, an Allegra Care Home, is currently seeking an energetic second chef who can contribute big ideas and has an understanding of special dietary needs. The chef will work with residents and managers to design and tailor food menus that provide excellent nutritional balance while providing a hospitality experience. The company offers support for career growth in the growing healthcare sector. The position pays £15.85 an hour Monday to Friday, and £17.20 on Saturdays and Sundays. The schedule is 36.5 hours a week, with flexible hours and a family-friendly environment.

Here at our beautiful home, we provide a household model of care, and mealtimes are always a highlight of the day.

We are looking to welcome an energetic second chef, with big ideas and an understanding of special dietary needs.

You’ll be able to help design menus, working with residents and managers to design and tailor food that provides an excellent nutritional balance, while providing a hospitality experience you can be proud of.

We are a growing company, and will be able to support you to provide opportunities to build a career in this growing, exciting sector.

We pay £15.85 an hour Monday to Friday, and £17.20 on Saturdays and Sundays.

Your schedule will be 36.5 hours a week, with one week made up of four days, and the second week a three- day schedule. The schedule is rolling, so your time will be well planned, and you’ll have plenty of time to work around your outside interests and commitments.
