Our client is a busy Manufacturing company based in Kidderminster and they are looking for an experienced metal worker.

Job Title: Metal worker

Location: Kidderminster

Shift: Day: 07:00 to 16:30 Mon to Thurs 07:00 TO 13.00 Fri

Pay Rate: £12.00 Ph

Duration: straight permanent position

Day to Day Duties

• Measuring steel from cut lists and engineering drawings
• Set and operate Saw machine to cut steel for the welding departments in the factory
• Ensure there is material for all the welders in the factory
• Daily machine total preventative maintenance checks
• Communication across all departments to ensure products hit the required lead time and each team are kept in the loop with any delays

• Used to working in a precision engineering manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Flexible approach to working hours.
• Eager to learn.
