You will be a key part of the KS3 and KS4 Music team where you will ensure a safe, nurturing yet empowering environment to protect the health, well-being and development of all the young people and staff.

To be successful in your application you must have the following:

  • QTS/PGCE Qualification
  • Knowledge of Music Curriculum
  • A passion for teaching
  • Be reliable, punctual and committed to long-term employment.
  • Good approach to behaviour management

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and creative lessons to enhance student learning.
  • Assess, record and report on student progress to parents/carers.
  • Set and mark classwork, homework and assessments.
  • Create an effective environment for learning.
  • Utilize and promote the use of technology in the classroom.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of teaching best practices.
