An accident repair centre in Gloucester is seeking an experienced MET Technician / Fitter to join their team. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to high standards, as well as identifying additional repair work and communicating effectively with team members. The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified MET Technician with experience in an accident repair centre. The salary for the role is up to £35,000, with on-target earnings of around £40,000. Job Description:MET Technician / MET Fitter
- Between £30-35,000 annual starting salary (negotiable pending experience).
- Access to a performance related bonus scheme providing £40,000 uncapped on-target-earnings.
- 23 days annual leave plus the 8 bank holidays with your holiday allowance increasing over length of service.
- Full in-house training provided.
Our Motor Trade Client is a Accident Repair Centre based in Gloucester and they require an experienced MET Technician / Fitter to join their busy team of bodyshop productives.
Typical duties of a MET Technician for our Client include:
- Diagnosing, repairing and maintaining vehicles in line with our Client’s high standards
- Familiarity with the skills, knowledge and techniques required to be successful in a MET Technician / Fitter role.
- To identify additional repair work and liaise with the bodyshop advisor
- Communicating effectively with other team members
- Carry out quality controls
Your Experience as a MET Technician
- Fully qualified MET Technician to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- ATA qualification would be beneficial
- Experience as a MET Technician within an accident repair centre
For your hard work as a MET Technician / Fitter for our client you will be paid up to £35,000 with OTE circa of £40,000.
