Job Summary by the Career Balance Team:
An electrical technician is required for a permanent position in Mid Wales. The technician will be responsible for maintaining the assets associated with the North Wales Trunk road agency. They will work closely with the site manager and will be required to interact with client site management on a daily basis. The technician must have a CCS card, be a qualified electrician, and possess a driver’s license. The salary for the position is £31,000 per annum, and includes a work van and fuel card worth £6,000. Job Description:
Electrical Technician Required (Permanent)
Mon – Fri, 40hrs
Based in Mid Wales
Paying £31,000 per annum PLUS work van & fuel card (worth £6k)
Purpose
Reporting into the Site Manager, the Technician will join a small team of local operatives who are responsible for the maintenance of the assets associated with the North Wales Trunk road agency which covers all roads and tunnels in North and Mid wales.
Aims & Objectives
Maintain the assets of the Welsh Highways network
Daily interaction with client site management
Responsible for checking plant suitability and availability
Daily reporting to the site Manager and Fault coordinator
Working shift patterns to suit the contract requirements
Promoting health and safety and ensuring adherence to health and safety requirements at all
times
Essential Requirements
Must have a CCS card
Must be qualified Electrician
Must posses a drivers license
