A talented and creatively focussed Lighting Designer is required to join an exceptional studio in the heart of London. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Lighting Designer to develop their career with one of the Lighting Design industries leading studios, working on some truly landmark projects across the UK and internationally.

 

This opportunity would be ideal for a talented Lighting Designer with 2+ years of experience in the industry who is looking to develop their career and gain exposure to some exciting projects.

 

Package

£35,000 – £45,000 p/annum
Hybrid working basis

Role

Reporting to the Associate Partner and supporting the Project leads
Producing designs for commercial lighting projects – taking inspiration from all aspects of building and spatial design
Contributing to the creative design process
Possess a genuine passion for high quality lighting design
Create visual representations of design throughout the design process – hand sketching, 3D Visualisation skills, etc.
Producing technical packages in AutoCad, Relux/Dialux
Excellent working knowledge of products, suppliers and technical requireements
Confident running projects independently
Managing project timescales and budgets in line with the wider design team
Delivering on projects within deadlines

 

You will be required to commute to Central London 4 days per week with 1 day per week working from home.

 

Requirements

  • Degree Qualified or equivalent in a relevant field such as Interior or Lighting Design
  • Expert user of AutoCad and Adobe Suite is essential
  • Proficient user of Relux / Dialux and a 3D visualisation package would be beneficial
  • Good hand sketching ability would be beneficial
  • Previous experience working as a Lighting Designer in the UK is essential
  • Excellent communication is a must (written and verbal English)
