- Basic Salary up to £25,000

Our client is a multi-site Motorcycle Dealer Group and are seeking a Motorcycle Valetor, Van Driver & Workshop assistant in the Southampton area.
Our client has over 70 years trading experience and are known as the go-to group for Motorcycles, Parts, Clothing accessories and service support. From scooters to championship winning superbikes & race replicas our client provides it all!
This Driver/Valetor requires a love for Motorcycles, you will get the chance to meet some of the biggest names in MotoGP, Tourist Trophy and Racing Teams, on a regular basis.
With the average length of service being 16+ years and numerous examples of in-house progression, this role is not to be missed!

As a Vehicle Driver & Valetor, you will be responsible for the safe and timely collection of customer vehicles and the ensuring the vehicle is clean on return. You will be using specialised automotive cleaning products to provide a quality finish and be responsible for any quality control checks. You will be working to a high standard, ensuring that all work is completed within the specified timeframe. You will be working alongside other experienced professionals, and therefore, the ideal Driver/valetor must be a team player and able to work efficiently and effectively.

Duties of a Van Driver, Valetor & Workshop Assistant with our client:
- Collecting and delivering, Motorcycles and Motorcycle Parts
- Safely un-crating new deliveries of Motorcycles, Accessories and Parts.
- Undertake visual checks of vehicle prior to cleaning and reporting any damage.
- Ensure all vehicles are cleaned to a high standard.
- Maintenance of the workshop and yard area
- General husbandry of workshop, showroom and service areas.
- Assisting in any reasonable request as directed by workshop manager.
What our client expects of their Van Driver, Valetor & Workshop Assistant:
- A Full UK Driving Licence (Clean Preferred)
- Previous Valeting & Car/Motorcycle cleaning Experience
- A keen interest with the Motorcycle Industry
- Experience with a Yardperson or maintenance assistant role would be helpful.
- Versatile and happy to assist in all departments of the business.
- A good eye for detail
- Self-motivated and able to show initiative.
- An Enthusiastic, Friendly and Approachable Personality
