Job Summary by the Career Balance Team:
Ocado Logistics is currently hiring drivers to deliver outstanding customer service. The role offers a £1000 welcome bonus for those who start employment by January 31, 2024. The drivers will be responsible for ensuring customer orders are delivered safely and on time, and will be provided with pre-planned route maps and pre-loaded vans. The position is permanent with 40 contracted hours per week. Benefits include enhanced digital GP service, salary advances, high street discounts, and pension contributions. No previous experience is required, but applicants must have a full UK or EU driving license and be over 18 years old.

We’re looking for friendly drivers who are proud to deliver outstanding customer service. This role offers a £1000 welcome bonus when you start employment with us by Wednesday 31st January 2024.*
*applicants are required to complete six months continuous service in order to qualify for the full bonus. Further terms and conditions apply.
Day-to-day you’ll be ensuring customer orders arrive safely and with a smile. It’s a vital job that involves being out on the road whatever the weather. In return, we provide pre-planned route maps and pre-loaded vans. Every day is different as we deliver shopping for both Ocado Retail and Morrisons.
What do you get in return?
Hourly pay Current rate per hour
Monday to Saturday (Basic Rate) £10.85
Evening Premium (from 6pm) £1.12
Sunday Day Premium £2.71
Sunday Evening Premium £4.11
Overtime rate Monday to Saturday (Day Shift) £13.56
Overtime rate Monday to Saturday (Evening Shift) £14.96
Contract Type: Permanent
Contract Hours: 40 hours (including paid breaks)
Contracted days: You will be required to work any 4 days out of 7, and will be provided with further information during pre-boarding.
Shifts: AM & PM. You may start as early as 05:30 in the morning, and can finish as late as 12:00 (midnight). Please check your commute time prior to applying. You will receive your shift rota up to 13 weeks in advance.
Pay Structure: The position is weekly paid.

What are the requirements?
You don’t need any previous experience to join our friendly team, just bring yourself and a positive attitude (plus a full UK or EU driving licence of course), and our amazing training team will do the rest!
Some deliveries will involve the handling of alcohol products. For this reason, you must be over 18 to apply.
