A well-established chartered accountancy practice is seeking an experienced Audit Accountant (Full/Part Qual) to join their team. The role involves offering clients an outstanding accounts and audit service, including responsibilities such as accounts preparation, assisting in audit assignments, ensuring compliance with requirements, and maintaining relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will be ACCA/ACA part qualified with experience in a practice accountancy firm, have strong communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work independently with attention to detail. Remote working options are available.
Job Description:
Audit Accountant (Full/Part Qual) – Full Time – Permanent
Our client is a well-established chartered accountancy practice, with offices based across Lincolnshire and Yorkshire. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Audit Accountant Part/Full Qual to join their team.
Purpose of the Audit Accountant (Full/Part Qual) role:
The purpose of this role is to offer clients an outstanding accounts and audit service.
Audit Accountant (Full/Part Qual) Responsibilities:
· Accounts preparation for Limited companies
· Assisting in Audit assignments
· Ensuring compliance with external and internal requirements
· Ensuring audit files have all relevant documentation on the appropriate section
· Analysis of accounting data from client’s books and records
· Develop ongoing effective relationships with clients, ensuring the retention of business
· Ensuring all jobs are completed within specific budgets, keeping the Manager informed at all times of progress of job
· Assisting junior staff in developing their understanding of the various software packages, auditing, tax laws and statutory requirements
· Keeping abreast of developments in audit, accounting, taxation and relevant computer software
The Perfect Audit Accountant (Full/Part Qual) Will Have the Following Requirements:
· At least ACCA/ACA part qualified with experience of working within a practice accountancy firm with a focus on audit
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to build successful relationships
· Able to self-manage and work autonomously with strong attention to detail
· Advanced computer operational skills MS office, particularly Excel (essential)
· An effective team member, proactive and motivated
· Commercially minded, a high level of flexibility and professionalism
