A growing drinks wholesaler in Bristol is seeking an Account Manager to look after their On Trade clients. The Account Manager will be responsible for building new business and nurturing existing relationships, as well as promoting the company’s portfolio. The ideal candidate must have experience in the drinks industry and connections to the On Trade sector. The role will involve travel and the candidate must be prepared to work evenings and weekends when required. Account Manager – Growing Drinks Wholesaler –  Bristol – Up to £45k

This company is arguably one of the most exciting and growing Wholesalers across the UK. This client is one of the largest UK independent wholesalers with an incredibly exciting portfolio. This company has extensive growth plans making NOW the best time to join!!

They are currently seeking a Account Manager to look after their On Trade clients. The Account Manager will be key in building new business and nurturing existing relationships for the brand. The Account Manager will be responsible for delivering on targets and work with the Sales team to promote the portfolio. This Account Manager will need to have passion for progression with a rapidly growing company.

The ideal Account Manager must have experience in drinks along with connections to the ON TRADE sector.  

This role will also involve travel!

Account Manager responsibilities include:

  • New business development and existing business maintenance
  • Building long-term trading relationships with the key volume and image accounts.
  • Working closely with the ON TRADE Sector to promote the portfolio and signature products.  
  • Delivering brand education & training to supplier, retailer and consumer
  • Qualitative selection and development of customers.
  • Identifying effective and beneficial sponsorship and promotional opportunities.
  • Feedback of customer opportunities and competitor threats.

The Ideal Account Manager Manager:

  • The candidate MUST come from a drinks background and have great understanding of the  ON TRADE
  • Must have extensive experience for winning new business in the ON TRADE along with relationship building and account management.
  • Personable and keen to development, wants to the next company “superstar”
  • Must be results focused with good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Must be prepared to travel and work evenings and weekends when required.
