Account Manager – Automotive

Job Summary by the Career Balance Team:

A leading vehicle leasing company in Leeds is seeking an experienced Account Manager – Automotive to work in their vehicle showroom and head office. The role involves managing commercial accounts and building relationships with decision makers, as well as ensuring the timely delivery of new vehicles. The company is offering a salary of up to £35,000, Monday to Friday working hours, a permanent role, company car packages, and an OTE bonus. The ideal candidate will have previous account management experience in the auto/car industry, be presentable and able to manage face-to-face meetings, and have a proven sales track record.

For the successful Account Manager – Automotive our client is offering:

i. up to £35,000 Basic Salary
ii. Monday to Friday
iii. Permanent Role
v. Company Car Packages
vi. OTE Bonus (KPI & Profit Share)

The role – Account Manager – Automotive : 

i. Responsible for commercial management of business and executive car leasing accounts across your region and customer accounts
ii. Build lasting relationships with decision makers to facilitate the business with vehicle solutions
iii. Invite Commercial Contacts and VIPs to events and visit sites to secure business relationships
iv. Ensure delivery of new vehicles on-time
v. Processing orders for new fleet vehicles

What our client is looking for in a Account Manager – Automotive :

i . Previous commercial account management / business development management experience from Auto / Car Environment – ESSENTIAL
ii. Presentable and able to manage face to face meetings onsite – ESSENTIAL 
iii. Proven track record of sales achievements from the industry – ESSENTIAL
iv. Car Leasing / Lease sales experience – DESIREABLE
v. Further educated – ESSENTIAL
