Merchr, a print-on-demand company, is looking for a Content & Marketing Assistant to join their team. The role will involve growing and scaling the company’s social media presence and implementing marketing campaigns across platforms such as TikTok and Instagram. The ideal candidate should have experience with social media platforms, be able to optimize organic growth, and have a good understanding of social media reporting and analytics. In addition, proficiency in Adobe InDesign & Illustrator is required. The position offers a salary of £24k to £28k, plus benefits, and is based in London.

Content & Marketing Assistant

Hybrid  – 4 days in our Archway office (London N19) and 1 day from home

Salary: £24k to £28k doe + benefits

Are you a recent graduate or junior marketer with a passion for social media and marketing? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you at Merchr, our print-on-demand company!

As a content and marketing assistant at Merchr, you will play a key role in helping us to grow and scale our POD business on social media platforms and through paid advertising. You will work closely with our marketing team to develop and implement campaigns across TikTok, Instagram and other channels, as well as contribute creative ideas and insights to help drive our marketing strategy forward.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a confident self-starter with excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail. You should also be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to juggle multiple projects at once. Previous experience with TikTok and Instagram is essential and print-on-demand experiences is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Posting and scheduling content across all social media platforms
  • Day-to-day management of social media platforms
  • Development and execution of social media strategy and campaigns
  • Reporting of social media KPIs with aim to increase social media engagement and reach
  • Content creation: Image and video
  • Contribution to the paid social media advertising strategy
  • Continuously conduct competitor, industry and market research

Role specific requirements:

  • Experience with social media platforms, specifically TikTok and Instagram, is a must
  • Proven ability to optimise organic growth on social media accounts
  • Ability to increase social media engagement
  • Understanding of social media reporting and analytical metrics of social media performance
  • Ability to tailor campaigns to suit intended social media goals for specific target audiences
  • Knowledge of paid social media advertising
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign & Illustrator
  • Proven ability to stay ahead of emerging trends and adapt content strategies accordingly
  • Strong storytelling skills and the ability to convey important messages through visual content
  • In-depth knowledge of consumer and content trends
