The role involves daily planning of project works, managing the quality of work by direct labour and subcontractors, liaising with key stakeholders, and maintaining a clean and safe site. Job Description:Teamforce Labour are actively seeking an experienced Works Manager / Superintendent for upcoming works in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, LE13.

You will be working for one of the UK’s leading Highways & Infrastrucre contractors.

Role Description
• Daily planning of project works and resource management
• Managing the quality of work by direct labour and subcontractors
• Liaising with key stakeholders and attend liaison meetings.
• Setting up regular and clear lines of communication to address issues that may arise.
• Reporting to the Project Manager each month, or as frequently agreed, on progress and all commercial matters.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and secure site at all times
• Assisting the Project Manager with the implementation and management of Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality procedures
• Directing and managing all site-based activitiesYou will be working for one of the UK’s leading Highways & Infrastructure contractors. 

Requirements
• HND/HNC in Civil Engineering (not essential)
• Strong project management background on civil engineering projects, specifically Highways and Infrastructure, 278 Works
• Excellent supervision and organisational skills
• Experience in successfully managing relationships with stakeholders and members of the public
• Proven management skills and ability to manage a project effectively and efficiently, delivering high outputs and exceeding our client’s expectations
