Job Summary by the Career Balance Team:

A Warehouse Team Leader is being recruited for a client based in central Cheltenham. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, and requires a full UK driving license and an in-date forklift certificate. Duties include picking and packing orders, overseeing stock movements, maintaining a tidy warehouse, coordinating activities with the manager and staff, operating a forklift, occasional van driving, and leading and motivating a team. Requirements include previous warehouse experience, forklift certification, a UK driving license, good organizational skills, and reliability. The position offers an hourly pay rate of £12.10 and is a temp-to-permanent role.

Job Description:We are recruiting a Warehouse Team Leader for our client based in central Cheltenham. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, requiring a full UK driving licence and in date forklift certificate.

You will be required to:

• Accurately pick and pack customer orders.
• Conduct regular stock checks and oversee stock movements.
• Maintain a tidy and organised warehouse working environment.
• Liaise with manager and warehouse staff to coordinate activities.
• Operate a forklift for various tasks.
• Occasional van driving delivering to customer sites.
• Demonstrate the ability to lead and motivate a warehouse team.

Requirements:

• Must hold a counterbalance forklift certificate and preferably Bendi.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.
• Previous warehouse experience required.
• The ability to lead a team.
• Good organisational skills.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and excellent timekeeping.

Further information:

• Hourly pay rate: £12.10ph
• Shift times: Monday-Thursday 07:30-16:30, & Friday 07:30-13:00.
• Temp to permanent position.
• Full training and site induction provided.
