104Job Description:Warehouse Operative
Location: Chalgrove, Oxfordshire (SITE BASED POSITION, MUST BE BASED IN COMMUTABLE DISTANCE TO CHALGROVE). Relocations will NOT be considered as the role is temporary.
This is a temporary position till the end of August 2024!!
Salary: £13.33 per hour

Due to the nature of the good’s you’ll be handling, this role will require an exceptional level of care and attention to detail, as well as the ability to work well under pressure.
Job Duties:
- Receiving, unloading, and processing incoming deliveries, checking and inspecting items for quality and accuracy
- Sorting, organising, and storing products in designated areas
- Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently before preparing orders for shipment, including labelling and packaging
- Operating warehouse equipment such as Bendi forklifts
- Maintaining inventory accuracy through regular stock checks and audits
- Ensuring a clean and safe working environment, following health and safety guidelines at all times
- Collaborating with team members and other departments to meet operational goals
- Assisting in resolving any operational issues or discrepancies
Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures
- Familiarity with inventory management systems
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
- Understanding of health and safety regulations
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent care and attention to detail
The hours of work are 9am to 5.30pm/ 37.5 hours a week with 1 hour lunch.
The company is on an industrial estate so it would be highly beneficial if you have your own transport, as the nearest bus stop is 20 minutes away.
