A well-established and discreet Wedding/Events Venue in Berkshire is seeking a skilled Venue Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of its event and function spaces. Located conveniently between Datchet and Slough, this exclusive property hosts a variety of high-end eventsfrom Weddings to corporate meetings to private parties and celebrations.
About the Role:
As Venue Manager, youll be the central point for coordinating all events within the grounds, ensuring smooth operations, top-tier service, and exceptional guest experiences. This role combines operational leadership with strategic coordination across departments including sales, catering, and front of house.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all event spaces within the grounds including meeting rooms, ballrooms, and banquet areas

Work closely with internal teams to maximise bookings and ensure seamless planning

Lead event execution from setup to breakdown, in line with brand and service standards

Deliver exceptional guest service and handle feedback professionally

Recruit, train, and manage event staff, setup crews, and AV teams

Manage budgets, inventory, and ensure all equipment is operational

Uphold health, safety, and hygiene regulations

Ensure clear communication and coordination with all hotel departments
What Were Looking For:

35 years experience in a event or banquet management role

Strong leadership and operational skills with a hands-on approach

Excellent organisational and communication abilities

Proficiency in event software (e.g., Opera) and Microsoft Office

Ability to manage multiple events while maintaining high service standards

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Desirable Extras:
