Job Title Venue Director
Salary: £85,000 – £90,000 + Bonus
Location: Midlands
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Venue Director to join the leadership team and drive the strategic direction at a multi-purpose large scale venue in the Midlands. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in senior management, with extensive experience in the food and beverage sector. This role requires a strategic leader who can shape the long-term vision, enhance our market position, and ensure sustained growth and excellence.
The Role:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic plan, focusing on growth and innovation
- Set the vision for the venue, aligning with company goals and market trends
- Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team promoting a positive and collaborative environment
- Enhance the venue’s brand and reputation through innovative food and drink offerings, unique events, and exceptional guest experiences
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams
- Provide strategic oversight of financial planning, budgeting, and performance
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging market opportunities
The Ideal Candidate:
- Senior leadership experience within retail, hospitality, events & catering
- Sports and leisure background preferred
- Significant experience in food and beverage operations
- Background working within high-volume or multi-faceted sites
- Strategic vision and leadership with a proven ability to drive business growth
- Strong financial acumen and experience with high-level budget management.
- Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
- Innovative thinker with a passion for staying ahead of industry trends.
