Big Motoring World Group is seeking a PDI Vehicle Technician in Peterborough to join their busy workshop team. This full-time position offers a salary of £33,600 to £35,600, with no weekend work required. The role involves conducting pre-delivery inspections, routine servicing, and mechanical repairs while adhering to company standards. Candidates should possess a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification, a full UK driving licence, and their own tools. Big Motoring World Group is an expanding dealer group that is going from strength to strength and is looking to employ a PDI Technician at our NPC in Peterborough. * Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 17:30pm – 42.5 contracted hours per week

*Duties and Responsibilities:*
* Carrying out routine general servicing and mechanical repairs
* Following PDI Process and Procedures in line with company standard
* Carry out all tasks in line with your skills and the business requirements, to the highest quality standards at all times
* Complete the final quality check on all vehicles, then off the car goes to have a fresh MOT licence
* Maintain high standards of house-keeping
*What we are looking for:*
* The skill range can be level 2 or level 3 qualification
* Full UK Driving Licence is required
* Your own set of Tools (Toolbox supplied)
* Good communicative skills and ability to understand and carry out written and verbal instructions
* Literate, numerate and proficient computer skills
* Systematic and organised; pays attention to the finer details
* Demonstrates an honest and diligent approach to work
* Prior experience of working to efficiency targets
* Take pride and responsibility for your own appearance as well as the appearance and organisation of the site in which you work
* Team player
* VOSA approved MOT tester also an advantage but not essential
* Dealer experience preferable but not essential
*No Customers to interact with – all interaction with Workshop Controllers & Managers*
