Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading Food Supplier in their search for an Transport Coordinator to work from their site in Oswestry.

For the successful Transport Coordinator our client is offering:

• Salary £28,000 – £30,000 per annum
• Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm
• Permanent
• Benefits: On-Site Parking, Company Pension, Holidays + Bank Holidays

The role – Transport Coordinator:

• Ensure the safe operation of all Transport activities in Shrewsbury and Oswestry, ensuring compliance with H&S legislation & safe systems of work
• Full management of the fleet and transport operation
• Ensures that all DVSA compliance standards as well as company’s own compliance standards are adhered to at all times
• Scheduling for PMI, MOT, drivers routine checks, among other compliance measures
• Ensure all incidences and accidents reported are fully investigated and actions taken as necessary
• Keeping accurate compliance records
• To manage the transport routing
• Work closely with warehouse management to ensure goods are loaded correctly

What our client is looking for in a Transport Coordinator:

• A good understanding of transport regulations, compliance, and fleet management – ESSENTIAL
• Proven experience in transport management, ideally within a logistics or distribution environment – ESSENTIAL
• Food Industry experience – DESIREABLE
