Rapier Employment are looking for a full time Transport Clerk to join our team here in Allington!

Salary:
From 11am to 6pm £11.70ph
From 6pm to 7pm £11.80ph
OT after 40 hours a week £14.62

We are looking for someone that is:

  • Relevant transport admin expierence.

Shift Pattern:
Tuesday to Saturday
11:00 – 19:00

Duties include

  • Pre brief all drivers
  • Pre-calling stores for deliveries
  • Ensuring all required paperwork and equipment is issued
  • Ensure completion of all agency staff forms and license checks are complete.
  • Monitor drivers’ schedules whilst on route using Microlise and follow appropriate escalation procedures where required
  • Allocating additional / changing work to drivers when required
  • Ensure all traffic systems are kept updated and completed fully
  • Ensure all fleet legal compliance is adhered to including drivers’ hours and defects
  • Communication with warehouse and shunters to assist timely load departure
  • Ensure vehicle and trailer resource is in place for start times
  • Cover debriefs and all associated tasks
  • Ensure compliance with company health and safety policies
  • Engage positively with the driving staff
  • Completion of KPI reports / spreadsheets
  • Affectively communicate with FLM and shift managers
  • Ability to adapt to a highly changeable environment
