Job Description:Training Bookings Coordinator
Pertemps are currently seeking a Training Bookings Coordinator to join our client based in Roden, Shropshire. The Training Bookings Coordinator will primarily manage the planning of training courses, ensuring that instructors are available and able to deliver training to learners. This position has an integral role within the business, and you will work closely with the Director and wider team.
 
Hours 37.5 hours per week. Mon-Fri 09:00-17:00
Salary £13.33ph £25,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage course enquiries and practical training bookings.
  • Contact learners to book and confirm training sessions.
  • Plan in training and test sessions with instructors and plan their daily rotas.
  • Send customer booking confirmations and required information, send joining instructions.
  • On a weekly basis book in advance driving tests with DVSA.
  • Manage emails accounts and respond to enquiries in a timely manner.
  • Manage and keep the rota up to date – location, vehicles and timings and inform staff of any changes as and when they occur.
  • Highlight any issues in order to maintain the schedule/rota.
  • Assist with covering team holidays.
  • Ensure you, the team and any visitors comply with all statutory and site Health, Safety and Environmental procedures.
  • Ensure unsafe practices or conditions, accidents, incidents, and dangerous occurrences are reported accordingly, and corrected where practicable.
  • Carry out any duties as reasonably requested to ensure smooth running of the business.

 
Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience working in a similar environment/industry would be advantageous.
  • Will have a clean UK driving licence and own transport.
  • Able to self-manage and be accountable for own responsibilities and workload.
  • Excellent numeracy, communication and listening skills.
  • Able to communicate well at all levels, delivering both positive and negative feedback to learners.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Able to multitask effectively, with proven time management & organisational skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure to meet set targets and deadlines.
  • Good IT skills – able to use Microsoft packages.
  • Has a positive can-do attitude.
  • Able to ask challenging questions in order to improve upon processes.
  • Ability to learn and adapt as the business grows, willing to undertake training to support the position.
