30Job Description:Dudley Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Trainee Extrusion Operator on behalf of our client in Halesowen.
Hours of work:
Rotational shift pattern of 2 weeks of day shifts and 2 weeks of night shifts as below:
Day shifts:
- 60 per week 06.00 to 18.00 Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday with a 30-minute paid break and two 15-minute paid breaks each day.
- 24 per week 06.00 to 18.00 Wednesday, Thursday with a 30-minute paid break and two 15-minute paid breaks each day.
Night shifts:
- 60 per week 18.00 to 06.00 Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday with a 30-minute paid break and two 15-minute paid breaks each day.
- 24 per week 18.00 to 06.00 Wednesday, Thursday with a 30-minute paid break and two 15-minute paid breaks each day.
Rate of pay:
£12.50
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the setup and operation of extrusion machines
- Following drawings
- Quality inspection
- Manual handling
- Perform routine machine maintenance and safety checks
- Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies
Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and machinery
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Keen to learn and progress
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies
