36Job Description:We are on the lookout for a Third in Charge with a passion for early childhood education to join a great setting in Brentford, London.

As the Third in Charge, your responsibilities will include understanding and meeting the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS, as well as ensuring compliance with various regulatory bodies and nursery standards and policy. You will support the management team in the smooth day to day running of the nursery and help and encourage the team to develop their skills and knowledge.

Responsibilities:

• Build positive relations with colleagues, parents and suppliers
• As a key member of the team, promote a culture of learning and development throughout the nursery
• Your effective communication skills will promote positive partnerships with parents and carers
• You will conduct regular inspections, and ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene in the nursery
• Maintaining accurate records, supporting the commercial performance of the nursery, participating in marketing activities, and attend team meetings are required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Have a relevant and recognised childcare qualification level 3 or ideally higher
• Recent Paediatric First Aid certificate
• Experience of management in a nursery setting
• Experience of implementing the EYFS
• DBS cleared
