Shifts Pattern: Early (Mon-Fri): 6am-2pm (Fri: 6am-1:30pm); Late (Mon-Thu Only): 2pm-11:45pm

This hands-on role involves working on high-precision mechanical valve systems used in aerospace applications. If you’ve got solid rig-testing experience and want to be part of a high-performing engineering team, this is your chance.
What will I be doing?
As a Test Technician, you’ll be responsible for testing aerospace components using pressure and fuel rigs to ensure they meet strict performance and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform functional testing on mechanical valves
Detect and report internal/external leaks
Verify torque values, flow rates, and cracking pressures
Carry out fine adjustments and shimming where needed
Follow detailed technical drawings and test procedures
Work within aerospace quality frameworks (DESAR, 5S, TPM)
What do I need to succeed in this role?
Experience with pressure and fuel rig testing
Confident in leak detection and pressure calibration
Able to read and interpret technical drawings
Previous experience in aerospace or other highly regulated industries
Knowledge of 5S, TPM, and DESAR standards is an advantage
Pay Rates – PAYE Options:
You can opt to receive your holiday pay as part of your hourly rate if preferred.
First 12 Weeks:
* Basic: £17.52 (£20.07 incl. holiday pay)
* Overtime: £26.28 (£30.10 incl. holiday pay)
* Sundays: £35.04 (£40.13 incl. holiday pay)
* Earlies (10% uplift): £19.27 (£22.07 incl. holiday pay)
* Lates (20% uplift): £21.02 (£24.08 incl. holiday pay)
After 12 Weeks:
* Basic: £18.05 (£20.68 incl. holiday pay)
* Overtime: £27.08 (£31.01 incl. holiday pay)
* Sundays: £36.10 (£41.35 incl. holiday pay)
* Earlies (10% uplift): £19.86 (£22.74 incl. holiday pay)
* Lates (20% uplift): £21.66 (£24.81 incl. holiday pay)
Eligibility Requirements:
Due to project restrictions, candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK and comply with ITAR regulations.
