The successful candidate will:
* Be an enthusiastic and knowledgeable teacher of Science, able to deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 desirable but not essential)
* Demonstrate strong subject knowledge in at least one science specialism, with the ability to teach across disciplines
* Plan and deliver innovative and inclusive lessons that foster a love of scientific enquiry
* Use assessment effectively to monitor progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs
* Promote high standards of behaviour, learning, and achievement for all pupils
* Be committed to continuous improvement and reflective practice
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to share resources and ideas and support departmental development
* Be prepared to contribute to wider school life through enrichment, clubs, or extra-curricular activities
