Smile Education is partnered with a Secondary school near Solihull to find a passionate Art teacher to join their team starting February or March 2024 depending on the candidate. The role will consist of Planning and delivering captivating art lessons to students in line with the curriculum along with adapting teaching methods to cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students. You will create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that helps student engagement and critical thinking in the world of art. The right candidate will need to assess and evaluate student progress, offer constructive feedback and inspire a love for art. You will join a staff body who are fun, dedicated, hardworking and professional, who will work together to support you in reaching your potential.
The successful candidate must have:
- A bachelor’s degree in art, Education, or a related field.
- Teaching certification or qualification (e.g QTS)
- Proficiency in the art curriculum and effective instructional techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for teaching and motivating students to excel in the field of art.
