Avenues, a community that focuses on supporting individuals with learning and physical disabilities, is hiring Support Workers for their new service in Kidbrooke, Greenwich. The Support Workers will assist adults with various daily living activities, including engaging in social activities and managing finances. Experience in social care is not required, as Avenues provides training programs. The company offers benefits such as flexible working hours, paid annual leave, and access to a pension scheme.   • Kidbrooke, Greenwich
  • £22,105 per annum (pro rata)
  • Full time and part time hours available
  • Full flexibility for all shifts across the 7 day week

We are looking for Support Workers to work with us in our brand new service in the Kidbrooke area, supporting adults with learning and physical disabilities in a large fully accessible building close to local amenities.

The people we support enjoy a variety of activities including going to the pub, night clubs and bars, concerts, football and playing game consuls so anyone supporting them will need to take part in those!

No two days are the same but your day might look like this!

  • Supporting our people to be engaged in all day to day living activities, including making full use of their community and beyond.
  • Supporting our people with social activities, and connecting with family and friends.
  • Supporting the management of our people’s finances.
  • Keeping our people’s home clean and fresh, and going shopping.
  • Providing, and encouraging, personal care.
  • And enjoying what you do!

Experience in social care is not essential, we provide a full range of accredited and award winning training programmes at no cost to yourself, including the Health and Social Care Diploma that will really support your career progression.
