Job Summary by the Career Balance Team:

CJP Outreach Services is seeking Support Workers for their new supported living service in Bristol. The team will support three residents in the community and the position requires a background in care and support, the ability to work independently, and experience working with individuals with disabilities. The role will involve providing support on a rotational basis, with a staff ratio of one to one and two to one. Supported living Support Worker

 

Bristol

 

Holidays 33 days per year (pro rata)

 

We are currently building a team to support 3 of our residents in our new supported living service, to support in the service in the community. This is a newly refurbished Supported living service and there is a great opportunity to join a specialist team of support workers.

 

The Role

For this position you are required to have a background in care and support, and also you will be able to work on your own initiative and also have an engaging personality, but also be able to deal with situations that may be of a challenge. We support people with a range of disabilities, including, Learning disabilities, Autism, and challenging behaviours.

Hours

We will be providing support on a 24/7basis with a staff ration of one to one and two to one, and therefore we are looking for the right individuals to join our team providing support on a rotational basis.

For this position you are required to have a background in care and support, and also you will be able to work on your own initiative and also have an engaging personality, but also be able to deal with situations that may be of a challenge. We support people with a range of disabilities, including, Learning disabilities, Autism, Down syndrome and Huntington’s disease.

The refer a friend scheme is worth £200 in total. This is split £100 after the person has worked 100 hours and then another £100 when they have passed probation (6 months usually).
