30Job Description:Smile Education are a Crown Commercial Services (CCS) approved supplier; through this partnership we are seeking a College Support Administrator to join this dynamic college based in Birmingham on a interim basis from February 2024 until July 2024.

Smile Education are thrilled to be working alongside this friendly and welcoming team in the recruitment of a College Support Administrator. The successful applicant will be joining the team from February 2024. This is a full- time role for term time only.  You will be working as part of a large and welcoming team to provide support both internally and externally. Previous experience with working within education or reception/administration-based role is essential.

This school is located within Birmingham. Applicants will have the opportunity to meet our client prior to being appointed to the role. The expected salary range for this position is between £11-£13 per hour. Applicants will go through Smile Educations’ quick and easy application process, which includes a video interview with your dedicated consultant.

About this Role

37 hours per week

8am – 16.00pm Mon/Tues/Thurs/Friday

8.00am – 15.30pm Wednesday

39 weeks per year – term time only

Core Purpose:

  • To manage, promote and develop quality communication with parents
  • To be the administrator for the acquisition, organisation and dissemination resources relevant to parents
  • To be a port of call for all Parents
  • To provide a first-class reception service
  • Assist with all school visitors and enquiries
  • To ensure internal and external mail is dealt with efficiently.
  • To answer phone enquiries
  • Receive deliveries, including signed for exam papers and deal with accordingly
  • Deal with outgoing post, including use and maintenance of the franking machine
  • Any other duties as directed by the Principal

  • To welcome visitors to site and deal with their requirements in a professional manner

  • To produce lanyard cards for both staff and students as necessary
