Job Description:
This role provides leadership and functional expertise for pricing excellence, strategic pricing decisions. It manages pricing evaluations on key tenders and lead a centre of best practice to improve pricing implementation across all CLTs.
Key Accountabilities

Drive excellence in market intelligence to draw on the knowledge of commercial behaviours of competitors and key pricing insights from internal intelligence networks.

Assist strategic decisions in the business and generate a foundation of actionable insight to support growth, identify growth and deliver value in multiple time horizons using competitive intelligence insights

Ensure pricing frameworks, toolkits, research & insights are updated & shared across the CLTs

Leads pricing waterfall development and ensures they are in place with accurate functional ownership e.g. marketing setting list prices & NHF.

Maintenance and development of pricing toolkits

Develop and lead a framework consistent with Castrol’s pricing strategy and agree any deviations from this in response to market conditions to include competitive positioning of product or portfolio of products & Portfolio strategy of product line positioning of products

Support the offer development process to deliver growth by leading insight activity and pricing of new products and services (index based pricing approaches) Provide commercial scrutiny and challenge through all stages of the OD&I process and agree all new OD&I price positions

Develop & own Brand pricing strategy across all Automotive & Industrial in Europe
Experience
Customer and channel management experience. Proven cross functional project management experience and working within multi-layers of an organization. Proven experience in the execution of marketing programs. Experience in the management of programs and offers.
Proven track record in Marketing or Sales or Finance or Operations
