Their success is driven by a dedicated team, are they are currently seeking a proactive and organised Stores Person to join and enhance the operations.

Main responsibilities of the Stores Person:

• Ensure accurate tracking, ordering and stocking of materials
• Lead and supervise a small team, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard
• Communicate and negotiate with suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels and resolve any supply issues
• Maintain a clean, orderly and safe stores environment
• Oversee the receiving, inspecting and dispatching of goods
• Maintain accurate records of stock levels, orders and deliveries
• Safely operate a Forklift Truck to move and store materials

Skills required for this Stores Person role:

• Excellent ability to create and maintain order within the stores
• Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with suppliers and the internal team
• Proven experience within stores or inventory management
• Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a small team
• Excellent attention to detail
• Must be capable of performing physical tasks, including lifting and moving materials
• Ability to identify and resolve issues promptly

• Hours of work – Monday to Thursday 08:00 – 17:15, Friday 08:00 – 13:00
• Location: Stoke-on-Trent
