You will be working with a team of stonemasons and labourers who are building a various stone buildings on the site, all in a traditional way. the stone is sources and dressed by us at a nearby quarry. The job requires you to work away from home 5 days a week, good quality accommodation is provided with £20 per day travel and food allowance. Weekend work available.
Responsibilities
* dress stones from quarry
* build random rubble stonework
* work to drawings
* be familiar with relevant power tools
Requirements
* Good work ethic
* Physical stamina to work for extended periods
* Own vehicle
* Drivers licence
* Willing to work away from home mon – fri
Rate is based on being self employed, if you prefer to be on the books this can be discussed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 70 per week
