I am currently recruiting for a Steel Cutter in the Kingsbridge area of Devon. Monday to Friday 07:30-16:00. 40 hours a week paid. £15 per hour.
Key Responsibilities to include
- CNC Steel Cutter/Operator
- Review drawings, designs and specifications to ensure precision in the final product
- Inspect finished products and ensure the meet the required specifications
- Create custom parts based on customer request and design specifications
- Maintain machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Communicate with engineers and other team members to troubleshoot production problems and find solutions
Requirements
- Experience with metal/;steel cutting using CNC machine is essential
- Experience in machining, metal working or a related field is required
- Experience with manual and computer controlled machine tools, such as Lathes, Milling Machines and Grinders
- Experience with CAD/CAM software preferred but not essential
- Strong attention to detail, problem solving skills and mathematical abilities required.
