Ayrshire College is seeking a Staff Learning and Development Advisor to support the professional development of the college’s staff. The successful candidate will work with the Head of HR Services to plan and deliver innovative staff learning and development programs, focusing on competencies, behaviors, and professional standards. A first-degree level qualification is essential, and CIPD certification to Intermediate Level 5 is highly desirable. The role will be involved in designing, planning, developing, and delivering learning and development solutions to support the college’s objectives and strategic priorities. Staff Learning and Development Advisor

35 hours per week

Permanent

Ayr Campus (Hybrid working)

£38,672 per annum (Subject to national pay award circa £3,500)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and forward-thinking Staff Learning and Development Advisor, to join the College and support the development of our staff, as we strive to achieve and exceed our ambitions and goals in the further education sector. We also have a hugely ambitious transformational agenda, focusing on our workforce and digital priorities, and this role will be actively involved in supporting the professional development initiatives to enable us to realise our ambitions.

 

In this role you will support the Head of HR Services in the planning and delivery of innovative staff learning and development. You will work across the College and its departments to identify, develop and evaluate programmes of continuing professional development focused on competencies, behaviours and professional standards. The role will be at the centre of our operational delivery requirements, supporting all elements of our professional development agenda.

 

A first-degree level qualification is essential and CIPD certification to Intermediate Level 5, (SCQF level 9) is highly desirable. You will also have relevant and recent experience within an L&D / OD environment where you have been involved in designing, planning, developing, and delivering innovative and creative learning and development solutions to support organisational objectives and strategic priorities.
