Remote – some meetings in Slough required
The role and responsibilities:
– Undertaking SQA assignments to ensure the efficient delivery of materials to the company’s UK and Europe-wide sites.
– Assessment and confirmation of supplier capability to meet company Quality standards by supplier risk assessment, reviewing SQA audit and analytical data.
– Verifying supplier hazard controls are operating efficiently to ensure all quality, food safety and legal risks associated with raw materials, their storage and transport are robustly managed.
– Taking leadership of supplier audits and building relationships with key suppliers. Supporting suppliers to address concerns and improvement areas.
– Responsibility for raw materials throughout the supply chain – working across 10 factories / sites.
What we are looking for:
– Experience in supplier auditing ideally within an FMCG environment.
– Knowledgeable in quality management tools & techniques experience e.g. SQA, SPC, LEAN, HACCP.
– Good understanding of raw material conversion processes.
