– £42,618 per annum, pro rata) with equity in company option Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) to join our Community Paediatric SLT team in South London.
This is an immediate-start position ideal for a therapist passionate about delivering high-quality, child-centred care in school and home settings.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based intervention for children with a range of speech, language, and communication needs (SLCN).
Manage a diverse community caseload independently, including mainstream and special schools, nurseries, and home visits.
Develop and review individualised therapy plans in line with EHCPs and SEND support.
Work closely with parents/carers, teachers, SENCOs, and multidisciplinary teams.
Provide training, advice, and support to education staff and families.
Maintain accurate records and contribute to service audits and clinical governance activities.
Essential Criteria: HCPC registered Speech and Language Therapist.
Enhanced DBS Right to work in UK Degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience (Band 5 or equivalent), ideally in paediatrics or community settings.
Proven experience supporting children with SLCN, autism, or developmental language disorders.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (desirable but not essential).
