Job Title: Speech and Language Therapist
Location: Bridgend
Pay Range: £25 – £32.50 per hour
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to provide comprehensive assessment and intervention for individuals with communication and swallowing disorders. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in helping our patients achieve optimal communication skills and independence in their daily lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of speech, language, and communication abilities.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to address individual needs.
- Provide therapeutic interventions for speech and language disorders, including articulation, fluency, voice, and language.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, educators, and other healthcare professionals.
- Support and educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies to enhance communication and swallowing.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records, adhering to regulatory standards.
Requirements:
- HCPC registration as a Speech and Language Therapist.
- Proven experience in assessing and treating speech and language disorders.
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Dedication to patient-centered care and a passion for improving communication outcomes.
