We currently are seeking a great *Litigator/Solicitor *to join our fast-growing *Personal Injury Litigation *team based in Chester with a competitive salary and fantastic benefits. You will be joining an upbeat, fun, professional culture in a vibrant and positive office environment.

Please see below the role responsibilities:
* Handling a portfolio of pre-dominantly Fast Track Claimant RTA/EL/PL claims from denial until settlement or trial.
* Ensuring that you are abreast of developments within Civil Litigation/ Personal Injury case law and changes to the Civil Procedure Rules.
* Liaising with Clients, Defendant Insurers and Defendant Solicitors, keeping clients up to date with the progression of their cases, updating reports and dealing with correspondence.
* Instructing counsel ahead of trials, applications, and conferences etc.
* Reviewing all evidence and establishing prospects of success.
* Assessing General and Special damages
* Advising clients on prospects.
* Drafting various relevant court documents and Applications
* Complying with court directions.
* Negotiating settlement.
* Adhering to KPIs.
* Adhering to SLAs (both in-house and business partners).
Please see below skills required:
* You should be a Solicitor with at least 4 years of PQE (although less experience will be considered).
* Experience of litigating personal injury claims in the Fast Track is imperative. Multi-Track cases will be available also, dependant on experience.
* Experience of RTA and EL/PL claims
* An understanding of, and the ability to apply, relevant law, practice directions and pre-action protocols.
* A high level of organisation.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Able to build rapport and establish relationships.
* Capable of gathering, organising, and managing information.
* Ability to multi-task & deal with several actions/ cases simultaneously.
* Ability to assimilate and apply new skills when required.
* Responsive to change.
* Team working and working to tight deadlines.
* Be eager to learn showing a positive, proactive, can-do approach.
