The hotels in the collection include a historic brewery, reimagined as a vibrant modern hotel: Montcalm Brewery. A storied city-slicker, housed in the former headquarters of the Royal Mail: Montcalm Royal London House. A property with a bold new perspective at Montcalm East, part of Marriotts Autograph Collection. And a duo of mindful hotels which set a slower pace: Inhabit, Southwick Street and Inhabit, Queens Gardens, both part of Design Hotels.

Our flagship hotel is on the brink of a bold new era. Its Grade II-listed building on the cusp of Park Lane has been sensitively refreshed by architects Holland Harvey. Interiors are being rejuvenated by Studio Mica and Studio Est. We have added a new signature restaurant helmed by a world-famous chef, alongside a dapper lounge and bar. Communal areas, bedrooms and suites have all been artfully redesigned; our spa and Grand Ballroom will re-emerge as modern icons.

Conscious, cultured, characterful, and considerate, Montcalm Marble Arch is a five-star hotel set on a historic crescent that sits proudly at the top of Park Lane, steps from Hyde Park and the West End, with a toe in Marylebone, bringing a fresh, holistic hospitality approach to London luxury. The respectful, sensitive full restoration includes a wellness space, community-welcoming public spaces and a restaurant helmed by an internationally acclaimed chef.

Overview

The Social Media Marketing Executive will support the marketing team and 15 hotels with social media content, advertising, and reporting. Working closely with the Digital Marketing Manager and Head of Marketing, you will be a key element in creating innovative, exciting, and engaging content to boost the profile of the hotels. Aided by agency support you will maintain and improve strongly targeted advertising campaigns. You will work closely with the hotel teams to brainstorm, create, and edit best-in-class social media. You will provide regular reporting on the results of campaigns and posts, continually optimising as you go.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and execute content creation tailored to different brand audiences and demographics

Create memorable, funny, interesting, and engaging content to grow audience and sales

Work with agencies to organise and execute social media advertising campaigns

Analyse and assess how activity has performed, continually optimising and amending based on these learnings

Monitor and report on all activity to the Head of Marketing and Leadership Team regularly

Remain up-to-date with the latest trends and suggest how Montcalm Collection can utilise these for increased reach and sales

Maintain a flexible attitude to hosting and entertaining clients, attending events, and occasional other out-of-hours responsibilities as needed

Other responsibilities

  • Working within the companys policies and procedures.
  • Working to improve the company’s social and environmental objectives.
  • Attendance at company-wide events, including the staff conference, AGM, company training, etc.

Essential Qualifications &Person Specification

The successful candidate will demonstrate that they have the following key criteria, personal competencies and skills:

  • Bachelors degree in a marketing- or partnerships-related field Minimum of 3 years of experience in Partnerships and Marketing, preferably in the hospitality industry Demonstrable track record of identifying new partnerships and negotiating partnership deals Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify revenue-driving partnership opportunities Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative partnership ideas. Experience in copywriting, including partnership announcements, event descriptions, and blogging Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously Self-motivated and energetic.
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to act as a brand ambassador.
  • A passion for social business.
  • Highly self-motivated, with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Experience of managing employees.
  • Basic knowledge of updating the website content and design is ideal (not mandatory).
  • Good knowledge of Excel and analytical tools.
