A construction firm in Plymouth is seeking a Senior Site Manager on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working for a main contractor and managing large value schemes from concept to completion. The responsibilities of the role include supporting the delivery of projects, assisting with site planning and design, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring the project is completed on time and within budget. The candidate should have experience with fit out/strip out, as well as relevant certifications and strong computer skills. This is a long term temporary position with the potential for permanent employment.

Attention Senior Construction Professionals! We have an exciting opportunity for you to join a construction firm on a temporary basis! The firm are looking for a professional who have previously had experience working for a main contractor and managed large value schemes from initial concept to completion. In this role, you will have the chance to support commercial projects. It is a great chance to showcase your skills and expertise in the field of construction. This position is a long term temporary position with an opportunity to go temp to perm!
Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of the project to ensure safe working, professional management, accurate delivery to meet quality standards within programme.
- Assist with site planning, design and construction programme and oversee the build process
- Coordinate work of subcontractors for various phases
- Establish timelines, calculate labor and material costs
- Generate and issue regular internal and external project reporting through company software
- Report the progress and any necessary modifications of plans
- Liaise and chair meetings with site staff and clients
- Ensure the project is completed on time, within scope and budget
- Implement and ensure H&S for site staff, visitors and the public are strictly adhered to
Skills:
- For this particular position, it is essential you have managed and have experience with fit out/strip out
- SMSTS, First Aid at Work, CSCS
- Relevant driving licence
- Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office and Project
