RMS is seeking Merchandising & Gondola Installation Operatives for various retail sites across the UK. This full-time, project-based role offers an immediate start and a pay rate of £12.21 per hour, along with travel expenses and accommodation for remote assignments. The operatives will be responsible for installing gondolas and shelving, completing merchandising tasks, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Candidates should have experience in merchandising or shopfitting, the ability to read technical drawings, and a reliable work ethic. A CSCS card and a UK driving licence are advantageous but not essential. Full training will be provided.

Your Role Will Involve: Installing gondolas, shelving units, and HD fixtures in retail settings Completing merchandising tasks – product setup, planogram compliance, stock presentation Working confidently from technical drawings and site plans Upholding high standards of site safety and accuracy Supporting and guiding team members to ensure compliance with RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements) We’re Looking For: Experience in merchandising or shopfitting Ability to read and follow technical drawings Awareness of safe working practices (RAMS knowledge a plus) A reliable, team-focused work ethic CSCS card preferred UK driving licence (advantageous, not essential) What We Offer: £12.21 per hour Travel expenses (£0.35 per mile) & accommodation for remote assignments Opportunities for long-term work on national projects ?
