38Job Description:Job Title: SHE Advisor – Facilities
Location: Frimley. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 dependent on experience and skills
What you’ll be doing:
Supporting the development and implementation of the Shared Services Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) policy, SHE Management System and related business objectives
Providing competent SHE advice, governance and assurance for Facilities Management and allied activities, within the UK, and SHE advice for overseas project if required
Supporting the Shared Services Facilities Management Team within Specialist & Infrastructure Support (SIS) team, but will provide SHE support to any Shared Services team or BAE Systems Business Unit as the need arises
Carrying out accident investigations and internal SHE Audits when required
Collaborating with key stakeholders, (including Service Delivery Partners) influencing them to appropriately consider SHE factors during decision making
Supporting the SHE Function and SIS Leadership Team by helping to record, collate and report relevant SHE data and business metrics
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
Internal auditing experience
Experience in applying SHE knowledge and processes in Facilities Management
Knowledge of the requirements around Asbestos, Fire Safety and Legionella Prevention
In-depth knowledge of accident investigation and Root Cause analysis
NEBOSH National General Certificate, or an equivalent qualification
Flexibility to travel to other sites predominantly in SE East but some travel to NW will be required
Desirable:
Knowledge of SHE certification standards (ISO14001 & ISO45001)

The Specialist and Infrastructure Support team:
You will be coming into an ever-changing role, in a team that helps to look after majority of sites and business unit in the UK. You will be working closely with FM’s (Facility Managers) and service partners. This will give you a broad overview of the business with opportunities for progression and to travel the UK.
