A leading compressed air supplier is seeking a Service Engineer/Field Service Technician/Compressor Engineer to provide electrical and mechanical repair, service, validation, and air testing of compressed air downstream equipment at customer sites in the North East of the UK and Scotland. The ideal candidate will have experience in servicing compressed air downstream equipment and FGas certification. The package includes a salary of £35,000-£40,000, a company van, phone, laptop, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, and a company pension. The role involves providing maintenance, repair, installation, and testing of various compressor systems and identifying opportunities for improvement.

The Successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer will provide electrical and mechanical repair, service, validation, and air testing of compressed air downstream equipment at customer sites across the North East of the UK & Scotland
The Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer will ideally have a field Service background in servicing compressed air downstream equipment, vacuum pumps, blowers & dryers, filtration, compressed air systems and / or similar with FGas certification. Training provided.

Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer Role
To provide electrical and mechanical repair, service and maintenance of compressed air products, systems and solutions at customer sites.
The Compressor Service Engineer will undertake planned and preventative maintenance, commissioning, diagnostics, fault finding of various compressed air downstream systems.
Maintain, repair, install, validation & testing of varied compressor systems such as air compressors, blowers, dryers, condensate technology, filtration and more.
Identifying and providing the customer with compressed air improvements, upgrades, or general aftercare of compressor products.
Liaise with various engineering departments.
Manufacturing training provided.
Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer Requirements
Proven diagnostic skills on complicated mechanical engineering or downstream equipment.
Experience as a Field Service Engineer / Service Engineer / Service Technician / Installation Engineer / Compressor Engineer or similar.
The ability in maintaining good professional working relationships with existing and new compressor customers.
Good working knowledge of air compressor downstream equipment, compressed air systems and / or similar with FGas certification.
F-Gas trained is advantageous.
A field Service background in servicing compressors, instrumentation, filtration, hydraulics or similar compressed air products & systems.
A technical mechanical/electrical/electronic / instrumentation qualification, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree would be advantageous.
Fully remote, willingness to travel the North East of the UK & Scotland.Location: Scotland, Edinburgh
