38Job Description:Service Engineer / Electrical Engineer / Electronics Engineer required to join a global electrical engineering manufacturer.
The successful Service Engineer / Electrical Engineer / Electronics Engineer shall carry out preventative maintenance, servicing, fault finding of uninterruptible power supplies / UPS Systems and critical power equipment at customer sites & data centres across the South of the UK and parts of West Midlands. Full product training provided.
The Service Engineer / Electrical Engineer / Electronics Engineer will ideally have a strong electrical engineering background, qualifications such as 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, ECS / CSCS Card, JIB or similar within electrical engineering.

Package
£32,000-£36,000 depending on experience

The Service Engineer / Electrical Engineer / Electronics Engineer Role
Carry out preventative maintenance, servicing, fault finding, and commissioning to uninterruptible power supplies / UPS Systems, battery systems, power electronics and critical power equipment.
Installation, repair and service of uninterruptible power systems, in a wide variety of commercial and industrial sites and data centres across the West Midlands and South of the UK.
Carry out preventative maintenance on the existing uninterruptible power supplies / UPS install base.
Set up and configure remote monitoring on software.
Communicate with key stakeholders on a technical level.
Utilise their electrical engineering qualifications and / or electrical experience to gain full product training and progress with a global business
Liaise with various engineering departments.
The Service Engineer / Electrical Engineer / Electronics Engineer Requirements
Experience as a Service Engineer, Electrical Engineer, UPS Engineer, Generator Engineer, Field Service Engineer, Service Technician, Commissioning or similar within electrical engineering.
Solid understanding and experience within critical power applications such as UPS Systems, LV control panels, electrical distribution, power electronics, electrical installation, generators or similar is advantageous.
Flexible for Overtime & part of the on-call rota.
Willingness to learn and progress with a reputable global electrical manufacturer
Electrical Engineers with 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, ECS/CSCS Card and / or a technical electrical or electronic engineering qualification, HNC, HND or similar would also be considered.
Full UK driving license willing to cover the South UK and parts of West Midlands.
