31Job Description:This position is for an experienced and skilled SEO Content Specialist to join a dynamic and fast-paced marketing agency located in the beautiful city of Bath. 

In this role, you will be responsible for creating and optimising web content to boost clients’ search engine rankings and other marketing-related objectives. You will work closely with Account Managers and designers to produce engaging, keyword-rich content and effective strategies that help meet clients’ goals. This is an exciting opportunity to use your content creation and technical digital skills to directly impact clients’ success.

The salary for this position is £30-32k DOE.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Researching keywords and topic ideas to inform content strategies.
• Writing compelling on-page content including meta titles/descriptions, blogs, articles, web copy etc.
• Optimising existing content by integrating keywords and improving page structure.
• Liaising with external suppliers such as designers and developers.
• Managing and updating CMS platforms like WordPress.
• Supporting Account Managers with simple graphic design and digital marketing tasks.
• Supporting Account Managers in varied marketing and administrative tasks.
• Proofreading and QA testing to maintain high quality standards.
• Analysing metrics and search analytics to optimise content.
• Assisting team with technical issues as and when they arise.

Here are the skills you’ll need:

• At least 2 years’ experience within an SEO-based or similar role.
• Evident technical skills in digital comms.
• Strong copywriting ability with excellent spelling and grammar.
• Proficiency with SEO best practices and keyword research.
• Familiarity with and good knowledge of CMS platforms like WordPress.
• Some experience in social media management tools such as Planable and Hubspot.
• Collaborative team player with good communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Positive mental attitude with ability to take feedback and direction as part of a supportive and transparent working environment.
