Job Summary by the Career Balance Team:
An automotive family run independent garage in Northampton is seeking a Senior Vehicle Technician. The responsibilities of the role include diagnosing complex faults, offering expertise to colleagues, working on complex repairs, assisting with training, and working closely with the Workshop Controller. The ideal candidate will be fully qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, have experience in a franchised environment, possess strong diagnostic repair skills, and have methodical problem-solving abilities. The position offers a basic salary of up to £40,000 with an OTE of £45,000. The working hours are Monday to Thursday 8:00am – 5:30pm and Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm.

- Overtime available.

Our Client, an Automotive Vehicle Repair Garage is currently seeking a Senior Vehicle Technician to join their team of hardworking Vehicle Technicians.
Responsibilities of a Senior Vehicle Technician with our Client:
- Diagnosing Complex Faults
- Offering your expertise as a Senior Vehicle Technician to colleagues and supporting them within the workshop
- Working on Complex Repairs
- Assisting the ‘newer’ members of the team with their training
- Working closely with the Workshop Controller
The ideal Senior Vehicle Technician will:
- Be a fully qualified Senior Vehicle Technician to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- Experience within a Senior Vehicle Technician position in a Franchised environment
- A strong working experience within Diagnostic Repair
- Methodical problem-solving skills
For your hard work as a Senior Vehicle Technician for our Client you will be rewarded with a basic salary of up to £40,000 and OTE of £45,000.
The hours of this Senior Vehicle Technician role are Monday – Thursday 8:00am – 5:30pm with early finish on Friday: 8:00am – 4:30pm.
