A leading London events venue is seeking a Senior Sales Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will have strong negotiation skills and a proven track record of achieving sales targets. Responsibilities include responding to enquiries, optimizing venue occupancy, creating proposals, conducting site visits, closing sales, and identifying new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have previous sales experience in a London events venue, be commercially aware, and have excellent interpersonal skills. The salary for this role is £40,000 – £45,000, with uncapped commission and hybrid working.

Salary:               £40,000 – £45,000 + Uncapped Commission + Hybrid Working

We are working with a leading London events venues, renowned for delivering incredible events. We are seeking an ambitious and motivated Senior Sales Manager to join their fun and friendly team. You will have strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of achieving sales. You must be comfortable working in fast paced and busy environment, with a real desire to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responding to a high volume of enquiries in an efficient and timely manner
• Optimising venue occupancy
• Create bespoke proposals for each client 
• Scheduling and conducting site visits
• Closing sales and negotiating on contract terms
• Account management of new and existing clients
• Proactively identifying new business opportunities
• Attend industry events to promote the venue and grow network of contacts
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth handover of clients
• Support junior members of the team

Skills and Experience:

• Previous sales experience within a London Events venue / dry hire space
• Demonstrable experience of achieving sales targets
• Experience working within a fast-paced environment
• Commercially aware and customer-focused
• Excellent interpersonal skills both face to face and over the phone
• Motivated, personable and well presented
