As a talented Senior Safety Engineer, you’ll deliver vital safety engineering support across defence and energy projects.
Your Core Focus Areas:
Safety Engineering Excellence
Drive safety across projects and bids-scoping, delivering, and owning high-quality documentation and requirements using the right tools.
Client-Facing & Cross-Functional Support
Champion safety engineering across projects and clients, collaborating closely with design, production, and test teams while delivering precise, tailored technical reports.
Leadership & Mentorship
Lead key safety engineering initiatives while mentoring and guiding junior team members and apprentices.
Continuous Improvement & Flexibility
Push continuous improvement in engineering and business processes, stepping up to tackle any tasks as they arise.
Your Winning Attributes:
Qualified Engineering Pro
HND/Degree qualified engineer-preferably in electrical or electronic engineering. Chartered or Incorporated status (or working towards it) is a definite advantage.
Safety & Systems Engineering Specialist
Proven experience in safety and systems engineering within regulated industries, with skills in safety system design to IEC 61508 or equivalent standards (IEC 61513, IEC 61226).
Systems & Requirements Guru
Well-versed in systems engineering processes and standards (IEC 15288, UML) with strong product lifecycle management knowledge. Proficient in DOORS for effective requirements management.
