A Swiss private bank is seeking a Senior Relationship Manager in the UK to drive the commercial success of the group. The ideal candidate will have a solid book of clients and a hunter mindset for client acquisition. They should also have an in-depth understanding of clients’ businesses and wealth generation. The successful candidate will need a minimum of 5 years’ experience in private banking and a strong knowledge of all private banking products. They should also be able to present complex financial concepts and investment strategies to potential prospects.
Job Description:
A Swiss private bank offering private banking and asset management services globally with ten booking offices, is looking to hire a Senior Relationship Manager with a solid book of clients, to drive forward the commercial success of the group in the UK. The bank is very entrepreneurial and boasts a range of unique products to make the client experience much more streamlined and efficient than usual. Particular emphasis will be given to bankers who are based in London, UK.
The RM will be responsible for entrepreneurial individuals to create longstanding relationships. The successful candidates will have a hunter mindset for client acquisition, have a robust referral network for introductions and already have a book of clients to the value of 300 million USD which are transferable.
You shall have an in-depth understanding of clients’ businesses and sources of wealth generation, with an understanding of client’s goals and risk tolerance to ensure that financial strategies are appropriate. The ability to build and maintain relationships with business partners and colleagues across and outside the organisation as well as possess a strong awareness of compliance and regulatory requirements internationally are required. To be considered for this position you will need a minimum of 5 years’ experience within the private banking space within your chosen territory. A strong knowledge of all private banking products plus a strong aptitude to present complex financial concepts and investment strategies to potential prospects.
You will have gained an impressive track record of success and be able to produce a detailed and compelling business plan during the interview process.
