We’re looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks Team on our Severn Trent Water Framework.
Location: – covering Severn Trent sites in the midlands and South Yorkshire (Worcester and Scunthorpe)
Contract: Permanent- Full Time – flexible and part-time hours may be available if desired, just let us know
Responsibilities
As Senior Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for the supervision of the projects and the workforce covering Severn Trent sites in the midlands and South Yorkshire working on wastewater treatment works. Within the role you’ll work on capital projects within the water industry, working on upgrade and resilience of wastewater treatment sites delivering both Design and Build up to £20m in value. You’ll be accountable for the time, cost, quality and all safety aspects. Initially the sites that will be focused on will be based in Worcester and Scunthorpe.
Your day to day will include:
- Work at maintaining the highest standards of safety, contributing to the value engineering and buildability of the project.
- Determination to gain agreement of programmes and methods of construction with Planners and other appropriate production personnel.
- Marshalling of resources for the overall control and execution of the works including the selection of sub-contractors to carry out the works.
- Ensuring that key dates, resource requirements, production rates, overhead targets etc, are established, monitored and controlled.
- Running ECI projects
- Support the drive for cost control, and forecasting to margin and able to manage multiple or larger packages of work.
What are we looking for?
This role of Senior Project Manager is great for you if you hold:
- Proven management experience, preferably in the water and wastewater industry.
- HNC or higher in Civil Engineering and hold SMSTS and CSCS.
- Relevant Civil Engineering Experience in non-infrastructure and experience of M&E works.
